REFUND/RETURN/SERVICE POLICY

EVOCHEF would like your visit to this website to be a smooth and satisfying experience. In order to achieve this, we strive to deliver your desired product in a timely manner. Under our Return Policy, you can return the product if you receive it in a damaged, defective form, or if it’s significantly different from what was purchased. Also, in our Return Policy, orders may be cancelled, before they have been shipped to you. Once the shipping has been initiated, it would not be possible to cancel an order.

Please read all sections carefully to understand the conditions and cases under which returns will be accepted.

All merchandise ordered on the EVOCHEF website can be shipped to all parts of India with an approximate shipping time of 7-10 working days. We would not be able to process any orders on Sundays and public holidays.

Delivery Policy:

  • Our delivery partners will attempt to complete your delivery on three separate occasions failing which the item would be returned to our warehouse. Please ensure that you provide a valid mobile number and shipping address while placing your order.
  • Our delivery partners may sometimes require valid ID proof for delivering your package. Please contact us at customercare@evochef.in if you have further queries.
  • Depending on availability, orders containing multiple items may sometimes be shipped separately. Each shipment will have its own individual tracking number, which can be tracked on the Track Order page under the same order number.

Cancellation Return & Refund Policy

Return & Replacement Window
  • A return request needs to be placed within 7 days of delivery of the order from the delivery address.

Order Cancellation

  • Only a full order cancellation is allowed. Partial order cancellation is not allowed.
  • To place a cancel request, call the customer care helpline within 8 working hours of placing the order. Cancellation requests will only have to be placed on our customer care helpline to a customer care executive. Other methods will not be applicable including emails, chat, and form submissions. Order Refund

We guarantee a full refund/replacement for all orders that fall under the following categories:
  • Change of mind before shipping – We respect your choice. We will ensure a full refund for any cancellations made before shipping. Please note in most cases, the product is sent to our shipping partner within 8 hours of you placing your order. If the order has already been sent to our shipping partner, it cannot be cancelled.
  • Product out of stock – For products that are no longer in stock, we will provide a full refund to keep your shopping experience at EVOCHEF hassle-free.
  • Dead on Arrival (DOA) – For products that are defective and are not repairable by our authorised service representative, we will issue a replacement unit upon receiving a DOA certificate (not repairable certificate) from our service representative.
  • Wrong product received – In case you have received a different product from what you had ordered, we will issue a replacement unit.
Here are the instances when products are not eligible for returns:
  • Products you deem no longer in need or change of mind
  • Products that have already been used or installed
  • Products that have been tampered with or are missing serial numbers
  • If onsite repair or replacement of the product is possible by our authorised service representative
  • For subjective or perceptive aspects like performance not as per expectation, colour shade difference, etc.
  • Dents and scratches on the packaging that don’t have any impact on product performance do not qualify for returns
  • If the request is outside the return window
  • Please note that we will provide a refund/return only for products bought from our online store EVOCHEF.in and not for orders from physical stores or other online stores. For offline sales, please contact the respective seller directly.
  • In case the product is received physically damaged during shipment, click a picture and email it to our Customer Service Team for assessment. This should be within 24 hours of receiving the shipment.
  • We only accept returns if the item shipped to you is defective or damaged. The item should be returned to us within 7 days from the delivery date in its original packaging. The product should be in an unused condition. We will send you a new replacement unit as soon as we receive the return package.
  • Returns would not be taken for orders delivered by store personnel. Please check the product at the time of accepting delivery.
  • When you return your product, indicate the reason for your return in a short note. Put the item along with the invoice and the note with the order number into a secure package. Affix our address (send only to the sender address as seen in the invoice/delivery challan) and send it through a reliable courier and email us the consignment details.

Refund

In cases where a refund needs to be issued,
  • We will take 48 hours to process the refund once approved. The refund amount will be credited to your bank account generally within 3-4 working days. The said timeline is subject to differ or extension depending on the bank. In the case of public sector banks, it may take up to 10-15 working days.
  • When a refund is approved, the order processing fee will be deducted before the refund is credited to your account. This fee is usually 2% – 4% of your bill, depending on the payment method used to place the order.

Terms and Conditions

  • All products should be returned unused and in their original packaging along with the original price tags, labels, packing, barcodes, user manual, warranty card, invoices, accessories, freebies, and original boxes defined as essentials. If any product is returned without the essentials, the product shall not be accepted for return.
  • Kindly retain the packaging for 7-10 days of delivery as it may be needed just in case you need to return the product.

For service and maintenance, regular and emergency, you can bring your dosa maker to the EVOCHEF store in Chennai. If you are staying outside Chennai, you will be provided with remote assistance from the EVOCHEF technicians and in case of replacement, one will be sent to you.
